Photography Classes

I’ve been running a Groupon for the last few months. And it’s winding down now. But I’ve been receiving a number of inquiries asking about it.

So here is the deal. I’m going to continue teaching these classes in the same manner and at the same price I have been. And all you need to do is call or email and set it up.

I teach photography, Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and many other Adobe products. Each class is tailored to the person taking it. And, because of the tailoring, I try to limit each class to two or three people. So it’s a much more personal experience than sitting at the computer watching Youtube vids or sitting in a large room with thirty other people. We go at your pace, and I make sure you are comfortable with what we can covered before moving on to the next topic.

Each class typically runs between two and three hours, and I hold them at a wonderful coffee shop in Carrollton. This keeps things more relaxed. And I really like their pie.

The Henderson Tap House

It’s official. I think I’ve found my new favorite spot.

Three words: Buffalo Chicken Pizza.

Oh yeah.

Klyde Warren Park, Dallas.

It’s Summer Time. And this is such a great place to spend it.

The Freeloaders at the Twilite Lounge in Deep Ellum.

That was a fantastic show at a fantastic venue. It’s good to shoot live bands again. It’s great to see how Deep Ellum has changed over the last few years.

La Madeleine

I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves this time.

Transformers: Optimus Prime, a retouching sample

I remember buying an early Transformer toy when I was around 9 years old. The cashier at the grocery store said that I was lucky since the new toys were really great, remarkably better than what he had to play with when he was my age. I never really knew what he was talking about since I had nothing to compare them to.

And the whole time I was shooting this, I kept thinking to myself, “kids these days are so lucky. Their toys are remarkably better than the ones I grew up with.”

I love a restaurant that truly makes their food into an art form.

Well, you know… things iced over. Considering how rarely that happens around here, there is no way I’m not dragging my camera with me.

A day in the park with Tammy

Sometimes you just need a little crazy.

Kortni here is a great sport. I hit her up with a crazy idea and she was all over it. At the end of the day, she had two second degree burns. And she swears it was worth it. I would have to agree.
